He's got the whole world in his hands

  • For turning personal tragedy into a driving cause,

  • Chuck Cadman, during the non-confidence vote of May 19, 2005
  • For reminding us that "one of us" can still make a difference,

  • For fighting for what you believe in, on your own terms

    (Even when your party didn't agree)


  • For not allowing yourself to be dragged down by betrayal: by your party, by your own body,

  • For showing us that independence (of party, of thought) is still a viable option,

  • For giving us hope that individuals can see beyond the restrictions of narrow loyalties:
