Rain!

I monitor and occasionally edit Wikipedia. This time, I laughed out loud at a tiny edit which had slipped onto the Canada at the 2008 Summer Olympics page between refreshings. Long before the final bout, virtually the moment that it became clear that there would be a medal, another Wikipedia editor had slipped into the side table a
Day 9 ... Total: 1
Apparently we were desperate.

Congratulations to Carol Huynh, who has only just qualified for the final bout in women's freestyle wrestling (under 48 kg). This guarantees her either the gold or the silver medal. But she has not won it yet!

(And in a different take on the title of this post, pity Toronto, the 2008 rain capital of Canada. Thus far this summer, it has had five times the amount of rain of Vancouver!)
